I prefer to be prepared for things. I try not to sweat the small things, but when it comes to problems around the house, there are no small matters. Take HVAC systems, for example. I rely on HVACs to provide the heating and cooling comfort my family needs, so I do everything I can to make sure the equipment is in fantastic shape. I change the air filter regularly and have an HVAC service plan. Service plans are a good idea because I don’t have to schedule appointments. They come out in the fall and the spring. Along with my regular HVAC chores, I keep an eye on the condensate – the moisture that comes from the condensation in the system. Normally, it runs out the drain line, but a backup in the drain could cause water damage where your unit is located. You’re better safe than sorry by watching this!
