I wasn’t too thrilled about selling our house. I made that clear from the beginning. But, I also knew we were in an excellent real estate market, so not selling the house would’ve been dumb. Now, my wife and I are living in a rental duplex with inferior heating and cooling. I want my home back! What makes this harder to take is that our home was perfect when we sold it! In order to get top dollar, we made some massive improvements to our home, including replacing our HVAC. What a replacement! Our new system was top notch, very efficient, the latest technology with a great SEER rating! I was stunned how much our energy costs plummeted with it. It also came with a smart control system, and zone controlled heating and air conditioning, meaning there were five independent temperature zones in our home! It was quite the situation. We put the system in before our living room work, so I get to experience it for a while before our house closed. Now, we are in a holding pattern. Getting rid of things was essential, but the lack of quality air circulation has my wife and I motivated to find our next home, which will, hopefully, have the same kind of HVAC system as the one we just left!
