I felt bad because when my daughter’s ballet recital came up, I got a bad cold.
I mean I felt severely under the weather with a sore throat and brutal headache. I even came down with a fever. I basically quarantined myself on one side of the house so nobody else would get sick. My daughter was sad that I couldn’t make it to see her dance, but I told her I would watch the live stream. That’s something that I’m happy the schools are doing these days, streaming special events like these so people can watch from home. It was also nice because I was able to adjust the temperature control settings to my liking while being in my room. I’m able to do that because we had a ductless mini split installed with multiple zones in the house. It really is convenient having a zoned HVAC system. I mean customized temperature control settings in every room speaks for itself! The energy savings are wonderful and I’ve never experienced greater comfort with another HVAC system. Anyway, it was fun watching my daughter during the ballet recital though admittedly, it would have been better to be there so she could hear me cheering her on. She just wanted me to feel better though and my wife and her brought me back some cold medicine to help me feel better. Sadly, my wife ended up coming down with the sickness and then soon after, all the kids ended up getting sick. After this experience, I decided to have a UV air purification system installed in the house.
