I know that this sounds like I am just a petty jealous person, but I really think that my mom loves her dog more than she loves me! I know that I’m a completely grown up adult and I shouldn’t be thinking about things like this, but the way she spoils her dog is just ridiculous.
I can assure you that I was never spoiled the way that this animal is on a daily basis.
When I was growing up, I barely got anything that I ever wanted because my mom was afraid that she would spoil me. However, this dog always gets everything that it ever wants, and some things that it probably doesn’t even know that it wants! For instance, last year, my mom got it into her head that the dog was too hot whenever he was outside in his doghouse. She got so worried about it during the summer when the temperatures were high that she ended up having our local heating and cooling company come over and give her a quote for an air conditioning system for the doghouse. After that, she ended up having her doghouse retrofitted to actually have an air conditioning system put in it! I could not even believe it when she told me that the dog was going to have air conditioning in the dog house that he is barely ever even in. This year, it’s the same thing but with the heating system! She’s going to get a little heating system put outside for the dog this year. I guess she’s spending all of my inheritance on this silly dog.
