There was a day that I was so excited to get home from work.
I had a guy coming to my house for dinner, we had met in restaurants and had even been to his place for brunch, and I was more than excited to invite him for an early dinner.
When I was taking a shower, I noticed that the water was just lukewarm. I knew it was time that the boiler got the much-needed heating repair and heater maintenance. At seven, when I heard the knock at the door, I knew it was him. Just when we were about to start eating, the lights went out, and that is how we ended up with a candlelit dinner. By the time we were done it had gotten chilly because the heater was off. This is because my house has an electric heating system. We had our coffee by the fireplace as we talked. I got to find out that he has a sister who is an HVAC tech who worked at a heating dealership near me. Growing up, he was the one who was intrigued by the heating industry, but as he grew up, his interest dwindled while that of his sister grew. I had met the sister once, and given her bubbly personality, I was thinking about calling her to schedule my HVAC service plan. He also told me that she is the one who had installed heated floors in his house and replaced his old regulator with a wireless thermostat. The only thing he took care of was cleaning or replacing the furnace filter. According to him, she was an expert at furnace/heater installation. As long as it was a heat and AC product, she would find a way.
