Just around a week ago I ended up having a conversation with a stranger that was actually enlightening.
I was in the park on a nice and sunny afternoon soaking in the sunlight and eating my supper while on a cut from supper.
Midway through my supper a stranger came up to myself and others and asked myself and others if I had any spare change. She seemed nice enough so I offered for him to rest down next to myself and others and prefer the weather both of us were having. After a few hours of small talk and pleasantries I proceeded to ask the woman why she needed money and this old woman proceeded to inform myself and others that she was a former HVAC repair tech who ended up having drastic back complications and was no longer able to work, then because this poor fellow had worked as an HVAC woman since she was sixteen years old her back problem was not going to get any better without tons of surgery and therapy which she could not afford, and she was not in a state where she could get a current task either. I felt so terrible for this poor former HVAC tech that I ended up giving him half of my sandwich and even offered to put in a good word for my boss on a desk task where her back wouldn’t be much of a problem. It seems love these unusual encounters happen to myself and others more often than your average person, however if I am able to end up helping this former HVAC woman out of a terrible situation then it is no trouble to me.
