I have been wanting to get a current fireplace in our house for many years now.
I finally decided that this was going to be this year that I was going to get it done, and I was genuinely gleeful to go to our local fireplace dealer so that I could get started on our project.
I was pretty surprised when I got to the fireplace center and the entire parking lot was full of cars. I never dreamed that it would be so busy, however when I went inside I saw that the place was just about full of people. When it was finally our turn to talk to 1 of the fireplace specialists, I asked him what the issue was. I wondered why the place was so crowded and why all the people seemed infuriated. The fireplace specialist, who was also a certified heating and cooling specialist, told me that they had been having problems with the supply chain. They did not have nearly enough fireplace inserts and products to meet their demand at that point. He told me that he would care about to sell me a wood burning fireplace or a gas log fireplace at that point, but he just didn’t have any in stock to offer me. That made me really sad, because I had really been looking forward to getting our current fireplace. I genuinely have the money for it and I really wanted to get it done. Anyway, I just didn’t know what to do with that information besides just getting our name put on the waiting list. I just wanted to warn people that if they want to get a current fireplace, then they should get started sooner rather than later.
