I have been wanting to get a new fireplace in our condo for more than 2 years now.
I finally decided that this was going to be this year that I was going to get it done, and I was actually excited to go to our local fireplace supplier so that I could get started on our project.
I was pretty surprised when I got to the fireplace center and the entire parking lot was full of cars. I never dreamed that it would be so busy, however when I went inside I saw that the place was just about full of people. When it was finally our turn to talk to one of the fireplace specialists, I asked him what the issue was. I wondered why the place was so crowded and why pretty much everyone seemed angry. The fireplace specialist, who was also a certified heating and cooling professional, told myself and others that they had been having concerns with the supply chain. They did not have nearly enough fireplace inserts and products to meet their demand at that point. He told myself and others that he would appreciate to sell myself and others a wood burning fireplace or a gas log fireplace at that point, even though he just didn’t have any in stock to offer me. That made myself and others entirely sad, because I had entirely been looking forward to getting our new fireplace. I easily have the money for it and I entirely wanted to get it done. Anyway, I just didn’t believe what to do with that information besides just getting our name put on the waiting list. I just wanted to warn people that if they want to get a new fireplace, then they should get started sooner rather than later.
