Trying to think outside of the box with pet names

I have had our dog Connie for about 15 years now! I first got her when I was just a child.

  • I love her so much, she has been with myself and others for most of our life, and I don’t think what I would do separate from her.

I think that she is getting older, and one day I will need to say goodbye; however for now, I will continue to love her more and more each day. I remember when I first got Connie, she was a surprise from our dad, who was an actual heating and air conditioning worker before he retired, then one day, while cleaning out and removing built up debris from the A/C coils, he looked over, and he saw a baby kitten staring up at him from behind the condenser unit, my dad has a large heart, and he couldn’t leave the kitten alone. He asked the homeowner if she wanted it, although she said no, so our dad kept her; after he was done fixing the heating and air conditioning unit, he loaded her up in a box, and she rode around with him in his truck to his other service appointments. My dad finally got to the cabin around 7:00 pm that night, and he walked in with a baby kitten in his arms. I screamed for satisfaction because I always wanted a cat, and it was so cool that our dad found Connie. He told us the story of how he found her while he performed heating and air conditioning service in someone’s yard, and so when he asked myself and others what I will name the cat, I thought it made sense to call her Connie – named after the A/C coils that our dad was cleaning when he found her.
