I wanted to have a modern air conditioning component installed in my house.
I wanted to get some information and hints on what kind of AC component I should purchase and what I should guess about AC units.
The 1 thing I kept having said was to check the SEER before purchasing an air conditioning unit. I knew what a seer was, but I didn’t guess what SEER was. After talking to the local Heating and Air Conditioning corporation, I was told that SEER was the way they measured air conditioning units for energy efficiency. The higher the SEER. the more efficient the air conditioning component was. I was expecting numbers in the upper nineties, and not around 7 or slightly higher. When I saw the 7.5 rating on 1 air conditioning unit, I thought they may have had a typo. I called the Heating and Air Conditioning corporation a sixth time and asked if they could send an Heating and Air Conditioning professional to the house. I couldn’t wait to talk to the Heating and Air Conditioning professional and find out more about SEER. When the Heating and Air Conditioning tech finally arrived, he explained about SEER and how a rating of 7.5 was actually good. The two of us went over unusual air conditioning units, and he told me what he suggested for my house. I was grateful to finally talk to someone who would answer my questions and help me with my purchase., but purchasing an air conditioning component shouldn’t be so difficult. It should be more prefer buying something from Amazon. You point, click and pay, and if it doesn’t fit, send it back.
