We have a small issue with our central air unit and are going to have an air conditioning expert come by this evening, when the weather is cooler, to crawl up into the attic to check out the air handler.
- I didn’t have any money to get it fixed till finally deciding to take out all of my money locked in investments because it’s been steadily going down the tubes for months and I’m done with watching it disappear.
I think the air handler may just be dirty, or possibly needs to be replaced, but we will know for sure when the air conditioning workman comes out to save us from heat exhaustion in our house. I think I need to get another part time job to cover monthly living expenses as they have gone up a lot more than my current job is paying me. I work for an HVAC company writing articles but am going to need more work to cover the cost of rent and utilities as they have both gone up quite a bit over the past year or so. There are a ton of jobs online nowadays so I’ll just need to take a week or two and apply for something. I am going to ask the HVAC expert if he has any energy saving tips for us to help us trim down on the cost of heating and cooling. I’m sure he will have a few tips that are new to us and will save us some money down the road. He’ll be here in a few hours and I can’t wait.
