Just 3 nights ago when I walked in my front door I immediately knew that there was something wrong with my air conditioner. I live in the south east, where it is entirely warm and humid, and right now we are headed into summer. We were already having thermostat readings in the 90s and having a concern with your A/C is definitely not something you want to happen. Even so, I had a problem, then fortunately for me, I rented the townhome that I live in, so all repairs are up to the owner. I am also lucky in that the owner of my townhome is quite a good lady. In fact she is quite kind and does not let things remain broken when they can entirely be repaired. That is not to say that she is not worried when I call her and say hey the air conditioner doesn’t work. Of course her immediate thought was that she would have to update the compressor, or even the whole air conditioner unit. It seems like it is human nature to worry about things like this when we have to get the heating and air conditioning fixed or the roof repaired or something like that, but anyway, we did have to wait quite a long time for the A/C girl to be able to come out because they are quite tied up right before summer, as you can imagine. Anyway, the A/C service tech was extraordinarily nice, and she got right to work, then she was entirely professional and knew exactly what she was doing. She told me she had 10 years of experience in the heating and air conditioning industry. Anyway, it turns out that all I needed was a new circuit board for my A/C blower. I did not even realize that there wasn’t air coming out of the A/C air vents until she asked me. It was then that I realized I wasn’t even sure. Anyway, although I could not give her a whole lot of clues, my heating and air conditioning specialist was able to get my A/C up and running within half an hour.
