The two of us just built a living room addition onto our new home as section of a new home renovation project me and husband did; Everything is pretty much done except getting heating & air conditioning into the living room that we had built onto the house.
The two of us had thought about getting a ductless mini cut air conditioning plan and then having it converted into a full on ductless heating and cooling unit.
However, that would prove to be more fancy than just having additional ductwork laid and created. So that was what we decided to do. It was pretty easy surprisingly. All I had to do was call the local heating & air conditioning company to order the work. Then it was a matter of scheduling a few afternoons in advance to have them send out a crew of certified heating and cooling specialists to come and both build the add on needed and then lay the additional ductwork. That way we would not have to invest in any additional heating & air conditioning equipment. The two of us could just have our respected central heating & air conditioning plan work for the new living room as well. The two of us had the ductwork built and laid within 2 weeks of making the decision and making the iphone call to the local heating & air conditioning dealer. I was pretty glad with the overall results, our living room now has the same great and most powerful heating & air conditioning as we do throughout the rest of our home. It helps that we recently bought a brand new and modern central heating & air conditioning unit.
