I want to get a new gas fireplace for my place soon although I need to make sure I am getting the right one.
I want one of those that has the flames coming out of the rocks although I am not sure what type of fuel I should get for it.
I think some of them run on propane gas or something similar to it, while others use a gel kind of like the sterno you would use while camping. I think it doesn’t really matter in the end as long as the fireplace is putting out flames so that when guests come over we can like a nice fire. I have a couple radiant space oil furnaces in my home for the Wintertide because these gas fireplaces, especially the smaller ones like I am looking at, don’t really warm the home much at all. I need to save a few more dollars, maybe do some more tasks for my family, and then I will be ready to buy one of these units. My neighbor works at the local supplier which sells them and he is the one who told me and others about them but he said they are all out of stock as they have been a tepid item lately and all the people are buying them. I think I can find one online and get it delivered in a few afternoons, although I still need to wait till I have enough money saved to do so. I could always take a loan out to buy one although I really don’t like buying anything on credit anymore.
