I want to get a new gas fireplace for my place soon but I need to make sure I am getting the right one.
I want one of those that has the flames coming out of the rocks but I am not sure what type of fuel I should get for it.
I think some of them run on propane gas or something similar to it, while others use a gel kind of like the sterno you would use while camping. I guess it doesn’t really matter in the end as long as the fireplace is putting out flames so that when guests come over we can enjoy a nice fire. I have a couple radiant space heaters in my house for the winter because these gas fireplaces, especially the smaller ones like I am looking at, don’t really warm the house much at all. I need to save a few more dollars, maybe do some more work for my family, and then I will be ready to buy one of these units. My friend works at the local business which sells them and he is the one who told me about them but he said they are all out of stock as they have been a hot item lately and everyone is buying them. I guess I can find one online and get it delivered in a few days, but I still need to wait till I have enough money saved to do so. I could always take a loan out to buy one but I really don’t like buying anything on credit anymore.
