So to have access to a place that wasn’t a store or place of business that had central air conditioning was a real treat as crazy as that may sound to young folks today that assume nothing about the afternoons before central air conditioning was the normal in people’s homes.
Back when I was kid there was this playground that I used to go to with our friends. Right across from it was this community center that went with it where us kids would be able to hang out and do things. I truly appreciated this place especially in the tepid summers. This was because it would be a great relief to go into the community center just to love the great air conditioning they had in there! Sure the other stuff was fun and all, but it was the air conditioning that made it all worth the while in our opinion. It was prefer a little safe haven within a short walk away to get out of the heat and get into some quality central air conditioning! Back then central air conditioning was not something a lot of people had in their homes. Other than the great air conditioning, the heating was also great in the Wintertide cold times of the year when we’d go to the playground to play and hang out. I truly miss those easyr times in life when technology wasn’t all what it is today. There was something special about those easy primitive afternoons. Especially when it comes to heating & air conditioning!
