After my breakup with my boyfriend, I moved into a super tiny apartment just a block away from where we were staying before. It was strange to just move down the street from where we created a home together, but I find a lot of peace in it now. My new apartment comes with tons of quirks, but one thing that gets a bit aggravating is the air conditioning system. It has window air conditioning units which means there isn’t really a good air purifier or dehumidifier flow going on. I have a small dehumidifier in my bathroom since that is the room that has the most moisture, but I really think I need to have a larger dehumidifier that is more centrally located in the house. The small one can only do so much, and I think that the larger dehumidifier would pull a lot of the moisture from the air that drifts into the rest of the house from the bathroom. I am planning to start keeping an eye out on deals on dehumidifiers because the good ones can get a bit pricey. I think investing in it would be really beneficial for my health and for the air quality in the apartment as well. It’s an old building so I want to make sure I am maintaining the air conditioner as much as possible while I am staying there. It’s a really different space than what I’m used to, but I am figuring it out and appreciating it in different ways all of the time. However, I am going to try my best to only be there for a year.
