I keep telling my husband that we need to get a new air conditioning system before the baby is born in a couple of months.
He just keeps on putting it off because he doesn’t want to pay for it.
If there is one thing about my husband that annoys me a lot of the time, it’s the fact that he is really cheap. I mean I’m glad that he doesn’t wanna spend money like crazy all the time, but when there is something that we really need like a new air conditioning system, he should just get over it and pay for it. He says that he does not think that we really need a new air conditioning system, but that is just not true. I think he knows deep down that it is something that we need in this house. The indoor air quality in our house is just not what it is cracked up to be. The air conditioning system is older, and it’s probably something that we should have replaced a couple of years ago. Now that we have a new baby on the way, it is not something that I am willing to negotiate on. I told him that if he does not choose the air conditioning system and the HVAC company to install it soon, then I’m just going to do it myself. I’m pretty sure that he thinks that I am just blowing smoke, but he is going to find out differently if he doesn’t hurry it up. One of these days he is going to come home from work and see an HVAC truck parked in our driveway. By then, it will be too late. I have made-up my mind about this.
