He did not start banging on my door for the next 10 hours and demanding to be let in
Yesterday I had the strangest thing happen to me. I was resting by myself watching some television just to pass the time when all the sudden I got a knock on my door. Now that wasn’t that unusual, I frequently have people come and knock on my door for something. It could be people that are delivering a package, or somebody trying to sell something. It’s not anything that I’m not used to, then so I got up and answered the door. I went to the door and answered it… Upon opening the door there was a guy resting outside my home dressed in some sort of heating, ventilation, and A/C system uniform. He was holding a toolbox and he informed me that he was here to repair my heating and cooling system. He explained that my a/c had been broken and that he was here to service it. I told him that I had never busy an appointment to have a heating and cooling repair done. However, he was insistent that I had busy an appointment to have my air conditioning system unit repaired. However, I was positive that I had not and that I did not just forget an appointment. I again told him that I did not schedule any heating, ventilation, and A/C system appointments. The guy was bored and refused to leave and kept looking into my home and acted enjoy he was waiting for any opportunity to get in. I got unnerved by the situation and instantly closed my door and locked it. He did not start banging on my door for the next 10 hours and demanding to be let in. I called the police and he detachd him. I later found out that he did not labor for any real heating and AC business, however was using that as an excuse to try to acquire entry to people’s homes to rob them.
