The air conditioner broke on our way to the tunes festival

My friends & I love going to tunes festivals & it’s become a tradition to drive a day early so that all of us can camp before the real festivities begin. On a road trip for a brand up-to-date festival down South, the cooling system in the RV all of us were renting broke & started releasing a honestly strange smell. Every one of us pulled over & our neighbor who swears he is a handyman opened up the cooling system compartment to see if he could spot an obvious issue! When he opened it up, the cooling system let out a little bit of smoke & the strange smell was even stronger. He quickly realized that this issue was a little above his skillset, so all of us decided to drive the RV to the nearest mechanic to see if someone could check out the cooling system. The contractor said that the RV contractor all of us used should have done a complete a/c tune up before renting out the automobile because it looks love it was just about to be due for that service, however considering all of us were traveling far to the tunes festival, an a/c tune up would have guaranteed smooth sailing for the trip. The mechanic was able to maintenance the concern in a couple of hours & all of us were back on the road! Every one of us are hoping that the RV contractor will reimburse us for this maintenance because it was a complete oversight on their part to rent us the automobile without it being done. This wasn’t the best start to our tunes adventure, despite the fact that I suppose that’s the enjoyable thing about heading down there early. Every one of us still had extra time to camp & get settled in before all of us got lost in the tunes.
