I usually go grocery shopping every Monday afternoon and it’s absolutely a therapeutic experience for me.
I like walking around the store and celebration food for my family and I.
This past Monday when I was at the grocery store, the air conditioner stopped working midway through my trip. I didn’t guess it would be a giant deal, however obviously not having running air conditioner is a major health code issue and so they had to ask most people to leave the store while they fixed it. I was a bit irritated and wanted to see how long it would take, so I sat with the air conditioner on in my automobile for a while to keep myself and others cool. I kept an eye out on the front door of the store to see when they would unconnect the sign that said their air conditioner was broken. I guess having the air conditioner works to keep some of the foods cool and their refrigerated systems, so this could have been a giant issue if it wasn’t resolved instantly. I saw an air conditioner van pull up about many minutes after they cleared out the store, so at that point I knew that it would absolutely take longer than a few minutes. I decided to leave and come back about two hours later and by that point the issue had been fixed. The time was closer to the night and it’s a little crazy how strange the energy was in the store at this time. I don’t guess I like going that late.
