I hope that the frog lived a good life up until its transition
My parents called me yesterday to tell me that their air conditioner was not working. It was definitely not a good day for the A/C to break because the temperatures were particularly high that day with a heat wave moving through. Thankfully they were both at work most of the day so they still got to be in some cool air conditioning. They were able to get in contact with an air conditioning company who had an available spot for them to take a look at the problem during the afternoon. The technician checked out their fan outside to see if there were any blockages that were preventing the air conditioning from running smoothly. It turns out that there was a frog that was stuck in between the blades of the fan, so the entire HVAC system was essentially paused as this frog lost its life. I felt so bad that the frog was dead, but I was glad that the problem wasn’t too difficult and that they were able to get the air conditioning running again without shelling out too much money. I would have been really grossed out to see that frog, so I’m glad they didn’t video call me while the technician was there because I know my dad would have shown it to me. I have become incredibly sensitive towards animals recently and I don’t know exactly why, but I feel really connected to them. I hope that the frog lived a good life up until its transition. We all deserve an honorable death, but I don’t know if that blade was too honorable.
