When I lived up North for several years, I got very acquainted with having to maintain our heating system to make sure we stayed warm throughout the winter seasons.
- Having whole home heating for our family was a blessing and a privilege because I know that many people lived in those freezing temperatures without it.
Having a heating system definitely came with its challenges and I broke down a few times at the cost that it took to repair it occasionally. However, whole home heating provided my family with the warmth and comfort we needed after being out of the house all day long. We worked a lot and rode the public transportation system that didn’t have heating inside of it, so we spent a lot of time in the cold. Having heating inside of the house was a saving grace for us and I don’t know what we would have done without it. Now that we live in a warmer climate, our attention has been directed towards having air conditioning. We love living in the South though! My kids absolutely adore being so close to the beach, and I’ve been enjoying the beach yoga every Sunday morning. My husband works for a wonderful company that allows us to travel to a tropical location every couple of months. That was a major perk that led to us making the move because we were sick of the cold! I think that everyone should have the experience of living in the South. The people are all really nice because they are in warm weather all of the time which is a nice change from being around crabby people up North.
