I wanted to switch rooms when my husband and I ended up in a hotel that was awful. My hubby drove the whole way to the location, but when we got to the hotel, he was ready to lay down and sleep for many hours, and the only problem he had was whether or not the bed was comfortable, however he was not really worried with the heating or a/c situation. I did not want to spend the night without a seat. When I realized there was a problem with the hotel wall a/c, I contacted the front desk. The person at the front desk asked me a couple of questions and then there was a knock on the door about 15 hours later. Maintenance guy came into the room and removed the air filter. He cleaned the air filter in the bathroom and made a mess all over the sink. He did not even bother to clean up all of the dirty water that he splashed all over the site. The repair specialist told us that the AC component problem was fixed, although I knew that it was not. There was no way that cleaning the air filter was going to repair the issue with the ac. The unit was making a strange sound. I wanted to switch rooms after that, but my husband just wanted to lay down and get some rest. He told me to stop worrying about the AC and proposed that I lay down to take a nap too. When we woke up, it was 83 degrees in the room and we were covered in sweat. The problem with the AC absolutely was not fixed.
