I’ve essentially always prided myself on not overspending.
Since I was a little kid growing up inside the quality heating and air of my parent’s place, I’ve been mindful of money and how it’s spent.
I’m actually thankful that my folks honestly helped me understand finance from a young age. This made it so much more straightforward for me to live with a budget and live within my means. And that’s not always the case when you’re young and you have your first real work. I took a task inside a downtown office building that had the finest commercial Heating and Air Conditioning. The company I worked for was the company I interned for and the same company I worked for all these years later. But because I stuck to a budget, I was genuinely able to avoid the credit card debt and all that other stuff that numerous young people get caught up in. Instead, I stuck to my budget and was able to get a nice property in my early 30’s. And that’s when I actually started paying attention to the cost of heating and cooling. Where I live, it’s actually more about the Heating and Air Conditioning cooling than the heating. So I made sure I was able to program my digital temperature control so I wasn’t over-cooling the dwelling while inside the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of the office. And I actually became rather skilled at it. So skilled that I thought a smart temperature control in my dwelling was unnecessary. But my spouse convinced me to add this Heating and Air Conditioning technology and she was right. As great as I was at saving on Heating and Air Conditioning cooling costs in my dwelling, the smart temperature control is honestly better.
