The beekeeper said he lost a lot of bees while in delivery.

When our hubby gets into a up-to-date activity, he never forges ahead slowly… He runs full steam into the task plus buys everything he thinks he needs, but normally, once all the stuff is bought, plus he gets all the comprehension, he usually loses interest, everything sits in the basement or attic until we either sell it or he has found another way to use it. Last week, he switched his interest from bat houses to bee hives. Every one of us started with bats because of all the mosquitoes around our house, but our neighbors had a lot of aged tires on their property plus they attracted the mosquitoes, however when he found the bats would eventually try to find solace in the house; he offered up the idea. He thought honey bees would be a better venture. Every one of us could have honey for our consumption, plus he planned on selling what we could not use, and i proposed he start with a small honey bee hive plus buy a couple hundred bees to fill it. Instead, he wanted to order 2000 bees plus the beehives to up-to-date home them. He was talking to a beekeeper that lived in our local area. He told him he lost nearly 20% of his bees while in delivery. Whenever the truck driver stopped, bees would escape, plus they didn’t come back to the beehives. When our hubby said he might order more bees, I put our foot down. One beehive to start was enough, plus I would not have our entire backyard filled with them. Instead of lowering the amount of honey bees he was ordering, he simply canceled the order. He wanted everything or nothing, plus I was thrilled with that decision.
