The floors were filthy and there was dust everywhere

When you live in the desert, dust storms happen frequently.

Sometimes the winds can start traveling quickly and we end up with 50 or 60 MPH gusts.

On a windy day, sand is everywhere. There is sand on the roads, buildings, streets, and in the houses. It is virtually impossible to keep the house clean when there are sand storms outside everyday. The kids were playing outside last week and they left the front door open. It looked like there had been a sandstorm inside of my house. The floors were filthy and there was dust everywhere. I made the kids get a broom and a dustpan and clean up all of the dust on the floors, but there were still particles of dust on all of the other interior surfaces. I spent 2 hours dusting all of the surfaces and sweeping up the dirt. I have been thinking about getting an air filtration system for the house. After that day, I was tempted to call the next morning. An air filtration system would remove all of the dust, dirt, sand, allergens, pollen, and pet dander from the house, but the machine is expensive. It costs a fortune to have the machinery installed and I honestly don’t have that kind of money. I tried to get the medical provider to pay some of the costs since I have seasonal allergies, but they would only pay for 80% of a room air purifier. In a three bedroom house with two stories, a room air purifier isn’t going to do much good.
