Two afternoons ago, I had a disturbing and funny experience with our HVAC unit.
I live alone in a two-story house.
I found an already well-functioning quality cooling system in the venue when I moved in last year. The cooling workman provided the cooling product a scrub bill of health even though the air conditioning install had occurred several years ago. Two afternoons ago, I had just gotten to bed and gradually fell asleep after a busy and hectic afternoon. I had a dream that I was being chased by a monster that was making a loud hissing noise. When I woke up in a sweat, I realized the noise did not stop because it was coming from our unit. I woke up and found a puddle of water near one of the vents. Since I had no system what was wrong with the unit, I switched it off and noted on our to-do list to call the air conditioning corporation the next afternoon. I would schedule a comprehensive air conditioning service and hope the specialists would make it to our house the same afternoon. When I returned to bed, I chuckled at the dream and was fascinated by the body’s ability to alert you even when you are in a deep sleep. The cooling techs could do the air conditioning repairs the same afternoon and even installed an indoor air cleaning system to maintain the air quality, provided I changed the air filters frequently. The prompt and efficient service from the specialists was refreshing, as I did not have to worry about having unusual dreams because of the malfunctioning unit.
