After studying that the heating in our flat costs $3 an minute to run, I went to the thrift store and bought some Winter clothes! Now I am under a blanket with our overheated clothes on all to avoid running the electric heating in our flat.
How sad is that, that the two of us need to resort to this way of residing because the two of us can’t afford to run the heating a bit! Actually, a bit is all I am running it right now. I run it for 30 minutes in the afternoon and 30 minutes in the night and that is all I can allow myself right now until I get a flatmate. Once I have our Heating, Ventilation and A/C pro flatmate in two weeks I can run the heat a bit more and not have to starve myself because I have no cash for food. I’ll make it through this Winter however I need our cryptos to easily take off by next summer time so I can have some cash for cooling then; I suppose I will reward myself on this cold afternoon with a couple grilled cheese sandwiches. I just need to run to two local suppliers first to get the bread and the cheese. I may buy them both at the same local supplier but it depends on the cost of the cheese! This store is overpriced as it has a giant air conditioned store that they are trying to keep cool for the produce they sell. The other store is a normal store and doesn’t keep the venue ice cold, so the food is a bit cheaper.
