I was so cold after my morning swim this morning that I was forced to turn on the heating for 15 minutes.
- That will probably set me back about $75 but I really needed it seeing my hands were kind of blue.
A lot of people think I’m bananas for going in the ice cold sea each morning as they see me a lot of times coming home shaking from the cold. I feel that the cold dips actually help my immune system get stronger and help me ward off more diseases, as I never get sick any more. I actually don’t run my central heating system when I sleep at night and keep my window open in my bedroom with my fan on. I feel like my body likes these cold temps as it helps heal my painful joints. I think the cold water is the best though. I turn the heating on in my flat after my swims and then I don’t need it on anymore as my home is really energy efficient with all of the good windows and insulation this place has. I had someone update this place a couple of years ago to make it better at keeping the heat and cold inside during the harsh climates. It was an HVAC tech if I am not mistaken and he was really good at sealing up the place and making it a lot more energy efficient. The windows are all gas filled double panes and the attic has a ton of insulation in it. I’m very happy I hired an HVAC pro.
