It’s amazing how warm the sun can make you feel, even on a cold Wintertide day such as this week.
As long as the wind isn’t blowing too much you can assume pretty warmed up from the sun on a bright cloudless day.
The radiative heating that the sun gives can warm things up quite well, plus this is entirely noticeable when the sun goes behind a cloud for a bit. I was out on the beach yeahterday trying to get a little sun plus I noticed that each time the sun went behind a cloud I would assume much colder. The sun is entirely far from the earth however it still acts as a radiant heater, actually similar to the portable space furnaces you would buy at a local business. The sun is much more powerful than these heaters, however the fact that it is 93 million miles away makes it actually similar to these types of radiant furnaces found in many homes. I would savor to get some solar heating panels installed on my rooftop to help chop the costs of heating in my flat. I need to go to the local business plus ask them what it would cost to get solar installed on my roof. I live in a huge building plus the whole roof is exposed to the sun quite well plus could serve as a fantastic base for some solar panels. I could get rid of my warm water oil furnace plus also heat the rooms with the power of the sun. I wish every new home had them.
