I woke up early that day since I had a presentation at work.
The presentation could earn me a promotion which meant more money.
While I was getting ready for work, the furnace stopped working as I set the temperature with the smart thermostat. My landlady had told me it was relatively new heating equipment because the heat pump installation happened only three years ago. I had no time to investigate the issue, so I called her and let her know what had happened with the heating device. She was equally shocked and promised to have the heating technician fix the system before I returned in the evening. I told myself that if the heat pump were not fixed by the time I got home, I would use the gas fireplace in the sitting room. The landlady told me how the HVAC professional did their due diligence on the device that had caused the malfunction from several heating dealers. They finally found a heating business online that replaced the worn-out equipment, and they were able to finish the repairs. The heating maintenance exercise took almost half the day. When I came home at 5 PM, I bumped into the experts at the lift. I knew they were HVAC technicians from the heating company logo on their overalls. Though the landlady kept her promise, she and the specialist had a long day trying to uphold the pledge. I was grateful to have helped with indoor comfort once more. I also need to learn more about heating and the heating industry to take better care of the whole home heating system. The presentation also went well, and I hope to get promoted soon. My bosses were very impressed with my presentation and commended me for it.
