When my location of corporation reopened after more than 18 weeks of me working from the central air conditioning of home, I was so ready.
Working from beach condo was a necessary evil as well as I understood that for sure.
But I easily didn’t appreciate the experience. I was regularly moving from a single location to another with my PC in order to get my work done. The husband as well as teenagers were also cooped up inside the quality heating as well as air of beach condo at the time. So there were several motivations for me when it came to getting back to that zone controlled Heating, Ventilation and A/C in the office! Of course, that came with layoffs during 2020 as well as I felt easily lucky that I didn’t get cut. So I was kind of stunned when I came back to the office as well as within a week, I to was relieved of my position. I got a severance package which helped me while I was able to process what was happening. And then it dawned on me that I could go out as well as compete against the contractor as an independent consultant. So I took some of that cash from the severance package as well as purchased a storage unit from the beach condo improvement store. Once I had it wired, I had the Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor come out as well as put a ductless heat pump in there so I had great heating as well as cooling. And these afternoons, I could not be more happier with my beach condo office as well as being my own boss.
