I’ve constantly been the sort of person who enjoys keeping a clean house, but it just has constantly made sense to me to keep things clean and organized. I grew up rather privileged and my mom had a maid to do the cleaning; then my mom was tied up at suppereons at the club so she had no time for cleaning. Meanwhile, I was a bit of a nerd who did nothing but read inside the central a/c for that sizable house, and not sure that I wasn’t even closer to the maid than I was my own mother… And perhaps that is why I’ve constantly been so clean and organized. I used to follow the maid around when I was little pretending to do all the cleaning, so you can imagine the horror for me when I watched a dust ball thing fall from the heating and air conditioning air duct in my living room. At first, I thought maybe more than one glass of wine was too many, but then I saw it again as I was looking right at the air duct. I could not feel what I was seeing and was afraid that there was something terribly wrong with the heating and air conditioning system. I called the whole emergency repair line at the heating and air conditioning supplier as it was after hours, they told me that this was not an actual heating and air conditioning repair emergency however they signed me up for ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing. This was the first time I had ever heard about those services. But now that I’ve had the ductwork cleaning done, it has quickly taken the cleanliness in our lake apartment to a whole current level, but ductwork cleaning will now be a section of Springtime cleaning every year.
