It’s as if my good friend and I take for granted some of the stuff that is the most essential part of our lives! Do my good friends and I just get accustomed to blindly counting on things that are always there for us? I believe that I’ve done that in personal relationships and have come to deeply regret not paying more attention, then I’m also prone to do that with the actual stuff in our life, and one of our worst examples of that behavior is how I’ve been with our HVAC equipment.
I grew up inside the central air conditioning system of a really nice home, and that arena came with plenty of quality heating and air, however I never paid any attention to the heating and cooling equipment.
About as close as I got to caring about any of it was when I adjusted the temperature control setting! Unluckily, I carried that behavior into our adult life! Even now that I’m a homeowner, I’m constantly having to remind myself to do the HVAC chores. And that shouldn’t have to be appreciated. I would genuinely appreciate it to change our perspective. I should be grateful to have the air conditioning system that saves our bacon while in our blast heating system of a summer. It’s easy to disregard the heat pump while in the winter time because my good friend and I genuinely don’t need much heating. But in a couple of months, the heat pump will be running evening and afternoon again as my good friend and I will need a bunch of air conditioning systems. And I’m genuinely committed to being sure that I’m doing all I can when it comes to taking care of the HVAC unit the way I should. So along with increasing the HVAC air filter every month I’ve also signed up for the HVAC repair plan, then this will quickly ensure that the heat pump gets consistent HVAC service throughout the year.
