When the term outdated university was invented, it must have been because someone was trying to describe my dad, and that’s my dad in a nutshell… And everything was just so much better back in her day; however now that he’s nearing 75, there aren’t too many holdovers from that day… But, dad still drives around in a truck that is 40 years outdated and has no air conditioning. Thankfully, dad moved down here near myself and others after my Dad died; however, she tried to stick it out up north however it was too much, and so my sibling and I encouraged him to ditch the gas fuel furnace and all the snow for sun and a heat pump, and it took us a long time to convince him as well… And even up to the last minute before she had to upgrade the heating, ventilation, and A/C in her beach house and sell it, it was touch and go. But the beach house did sell and she made a pretty penny; and with that, my great friend and I set him up in a small, 2 study room bungalow just minutes from my partner and I… And of course, my father was vocal about all the current stuff inside her current place. And she wasn’t at all sure about a heat pump during the winter. Of course, she had never experienced the sort of mild winter that my great friend and I have in this region. And I assured him that a heat pump was more than enough. But she really lost it when she found out about the smart temperature control. She was sure that she could save more currency on air conditioning costs than any heating, ventilation, and A/C technology. So my great friend and I put it to a test for a couple of weeks as well. Half the summer time my great friend and I used the smart temperature control and half the summer time my great friend and I used dad’s temperature control expertise. When my great friend and I tallied up the energy bills, the smart temperature control won by nearly 20 percent.
