The reason for this is that I always rely on seasonal HVAC maintenance
It won’t be too long now before the heat pumps in our neighborhood will once again rise up in chorus with a familiar song. That song would be making the cooling comfort for our homes that we all depend upon. Sure, it’s awesome outside right now. And I think we all manage the sweltering summer in order to enjoy this winter weather. But before much longer, there will be a need for air conditioning. Then, that need will grow to an outsized demand for cooling comfort inside my home. I’m a native of this region so I kind of know my way around how to manage the heat and humidity. When I say that, I mean more for myself and my family. There are plenty of people who really pour on the air conditioning for the better part of eight or nine months of the year. I think that’s a bit over the top. Plus, I would never want to have to pay their utility bills in the summertime. While we tend to wait till at least mid May or so before leaving the air conditioning on, we still have to have that sort of cooling to manage. And each year when I reach for the thermostat to flip it to air conditioning, I’m assured of a smooth start. The reason for this is that I always rely on seasonal HVAC maintenance. That means heating maintenance in the fall which is sort of a misnomer. But then there is the air conditioning tune up before the heat really sets in. I like knowing that my heat pump is running and it’s most efficient while also being assured of the fact that it’s ready for a summer load.
