The other afternoon when I was at my art class it was chilly cold in the classroom, but this is highly unusual, too, since the room that every one of us meet in is right next door to the ceramics room where the kiln is! Usually the kiln is running and that entirely starts heating up the whole entire hallway on that side of the building.
That wasn’t happening the other afternoon, though.
The people I was with and I were having class and I didn’t even believe if I was going to be able to get through the class because it was so cold in the room! Many of the students complained to the instructor about the temperature in the classroom, but the instructor said that there was nothing that she could do about it, however apparently, they were having complications with the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system throughout the whole entire building. The instructor told us that she had been chilly all afternoon long, even her office down in the basement was super cold, but she said that when she came into work that afternoon, she could see her breath when she sat down at her desk! The commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C contractor that they use at the art school had been called already but they were still not there, even though our class was in the evening! Finally, about the time that the class was supposed to be over, I saw the commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C truck pulling into the parking lot outside, and hopefully, next month when every one of us have class again, the oil furnace will not be an issue for us! I don’t want to have class in the cold again!
