It’s been a pretty frigid winter time this year.
I’m pretty sure that I haven’t made it straight-forward on myself when it came to heating the household.
For some reason, my schedule was completely changed this fall. There was a giant push in the office for introducing an up-to-date product that I spent unholy hours inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office. And then, I finally got Covid. While I was vaccinated, it was still no picnic, but it felt as though I easily had one of the worst cases of the flu ever. And I had to stay out of labor just when I needed to be inside the commercial HVAC of the office. So when I got back in there, that was my sole focus. This meant that I entirely let some things fall through the cracks, namely, I whiffed when it came to getting heating service. I simply forgot to call the HVAC business exactly like I normally do each fall! My good friend and I typically get HVAC service in the fall plus in the Spring… Of course, that error entirely came back to bite me in the rear end. It was just before Christmas plus entirely nippy outside when the gas furnace decided to stop working. This happened on a Monday morning so I thought I would have a look at the gas furnace prior to calling the HVAC device business on Tuesday. Well, I did find a burned out switch that I promptly replaced with a certain one from the up-to-date home improvement store. The complication with that was it was not a factory part plus ended up doing a pretty good amount of damage to the gas furnace, but the lesson was learned. My good friend and I are now part of the HVAC service plan so I will never forget the heating service or the A/C tune up ever again.
