I’m not shy about my motivations for moving home.
This region is where I was born as well as raised.
It’s also the region that I took totally for granted while I was growing up. But I assume that many teenagers have a lawn is always greener on the other side mentality when they are young. My large complaint was that my new home region was boring, too tepid as well as needed too much a/c. Those are some pretty feeble reasons to leave the area. But leave I did as I chose a school way up north. I wanted to be near a large village with excitement, culture as well as a white Christmas. I got all of that as well as a dorm room with easily intense radiant heating. I loved the extreme change initially. However, even as I was finishing up my studies, the winters were taking a toll on me. Why I took that job as well as ended up staying up north for another decade is still a bit of a puzzle to me. But as soon as I got the choice to transfer to my new home region, I was all over it. I couldn’t leave winter, gas oil furnaces, snow as well as ice any quicker. So yea, I moved new home because I wanted a Winter where the heat pump stayed quiet, however and I got it. I particularly have kept count this Winter of the number of time I needed heating from the heat pump. The number is several as well as we’re now in April so I’m thinking I can flip the control unit over to cooling. Man, I’m so thankful to have this sort of mild Winter again as well as I’m never leaving it.
