I wasn’t sure what to anticipate when we took a quick trip to a farm.
Typically, we spent holidays at resorts or cabins.
My partner and I, however, wanted a different experience this time. There was a farm with horses and vacation cabins. We, therefore, believed that seeing the animals and crops would bring about the change we were seeking. The most ideal location we had ever seen was a small farm. We both worked from home at the time, so we reasoned that finding a place like this would be a good way to escape the chaos of the cities. That dream was realized over the course of three years, despite the fact that we encountered many difficulties. We purchased our 20-acre farm, renovated the home before moving in, and today is the first anniversary of that. To renovate the farmhouse and address the heating and cooling, we had to complete a significant amount of work. We had to install a furnace to keep the house warm because this area is well-known for its skiing, which means a harsh winter. In addition, we purchased a heat pump for use during the sweltering summer months. We were given contacts to a top heating and cooling company in the neighborhood by a neighbor, and they provided us with excellent service. A small heater was installed in the greenhouse by an HVAC specialist who returned to the farm yesterday. When you grow delicate plants in a greenhouse, it’s critical to have a heater, especially if you experience prolonged periods of negative temperatures.
