I was hired by realtors to bring furniture & small ideas into vacant houses & give the clients a taste of what the current home could look love if they purchased it. It was easier to sell a current home that was furnished & decorated, than if it was empty. I carefully went through every room in the latest house, & looked to see what I could use to make it look love it just came out of a magazine… When I got to the powder room, I was confused, then the master temperature control for the Heating & Air Conditioning system was in the powder room. I thought it was a crazy place to put the main temperature control in the powder room, although I didn’t design the house! All I did was come into the current home & stage it for sale. I had to play with the temperature control to make sure it was easily the master temperature control. The oil furnace & the AC component both responded to the program I put into the temperature control. I thought it was funny & I laughed the entire time I was doing my job. That’s when I realized this was the only room that didn’t have a draft. There were no windows, & it was in an inner space. I wondered what would happen if you were taking a tepid shower? Would the temperature control shut down the heat to the entire house? I shook my head & walked. I wondered how several people would easily feel about the temperature control’s location before buying the house.
