That means that 99% of the energy that is used is there to create heat. Only 1% of the machine loses energy and that is one of the best machines on the market. The boiler was really more fancy than we thought, but we got a fantastic deal from a local heating and A/C installation business. we saved 20% on the bill and that was several hundreds of dollars. We also got a brand new programmable control component for free when the new boiler was installed. The programmable control component also helps us save money by allowing us to program unusual temperature settings throughout the day. There’s no reason for us to heat or cool our home when no one is home. It makes a lot more sense to use the programmable control component to help us save money.
