Anyway, it’s fantastic to know that replacing a roof doesn’t take as long as I initially thought it would
A couple years ago, my Mom had his roof upgraded because it was over 25 years old, then and as someone who has no idea about roof upgradement, I wasn’t sure of how long the process would take; In my head, a roof upgradement is a major project that should take at least a week to complete, but to my surprise his roof upgradement was completed in less than 3 afternoons. In fact, on the fifth afternoon, the roofers didn’t complete a full afternoon, so technically it took two plus a half afternoons to do a full roof upgradement, but my Mom lives in a 2,100 square foot loft which is around the average size of a loft in the country plus based on what I learn online, it should take between 2 to 3 afternoons for a full roof upgradement. Of course, depending on the material used, some roof upgradements will take more time, for instance, asphalt shingles, which is what my Mom has on his roof, have one of the shortest upgrade times, however, tile, metal, or natural slate, takes much longer to install. In fact, depending on weather plus the square footage of a home, it could take up to 9 or more afternoons to install a concrete stone roof. And speaking of weather, it plays a big part in the time it takes for a roof upgradement. Weather can cause major delays for roofing dealers. Anyway, it’s fantastic to know that replacing a roof doesn’t take as long as I initially thought it would. And if I ever needed to get my roof upgraded, I know the process will take 2 to 3 afternoons, of course, weather permitting.
