My husband Max plus I were ripping out the walls in the kitchen of our house.
Max and I wanted to remodel the room plus add a larger closet.
When Max and I started ripping the walls out, we were sick to see what was going on in between them. Ants had gotten into the insulation panels, plus I could see the burrowing they were doing in the insulation. I refused to touch the insulation panels until Max destroyed the ants. All four walls were attacking the insulation, which made us understand why the kitchen had been so difficult to heat plus cool. My mind was now wondering if it was possible the ants were crawling in every wall in the house. I wanted to call an exterminator plus have them treat the entire property plus the surrounding grounds for fire ants. All the afternoons Max and I spent shivering because our boiler couldn’t keep up with the cold. The Summer Max and I sweltered inside the property because the cooling system couldn’t keep up and swirled in my memories. I didn’t want to sleep in the kitchen or in the property until I was sure they exterminated every ant. Max laughed plus told me it could be worse. Max and I could have termites in the wood along with the ants in the insulation. I called an exterminator plus told them I wanted them to treat for termites when they treated for ants. Max and I were going to a hotel for one night so my buddy and I weren’t in the property with harsh chemicals, plus Max and I would have cooling system. If they were treating for termites, Max and I would have three days with excellent AC, instead of one.
