Last week, I won a trivia contest at a local bar because I know so much about heating, ventilation and A/C systems.
I know that this sounds crazy, and you absolutely don’t know anyone else who has ever had this happen to them. I mean, I don’t usually run into that several people who know anything about heating and cooling systems other than the fact that sometimes they have to change the batteries in their control units and the air filter in their heating, ventilation and A/C system, other than that, no one seems to know all that much about the most substantial appliances in their homes! It always was my mind that people don’t really seem to know anything about their own heating and cooling system in their house. I suppose it’s just because I grew up learning all about that kind of thing. My dad was a heating and cooling specialist, and I spent most of my summers with him learning about things like a/c tune ups and furnace repairs. So whenever the trivia announcer said that one of the categories at trivia night at our number one bar was going to be heating and cooling technology, I knew immediately that I was going to be winning the game for our team. Sure enough, that is exactly what happened to me. Nobody else knew anything and I knew it all! It was a good feeling to be able to bring home the trophy for our team, and it’s all because of everything that my dad used to teach me when I was growing up with him and riding in the heating, ventilation and A/C truck.
