Molly was in the house wondering how long the HVAC technician would take to finish fixing the AC. The house felt so terrible ever since the air conditioning failed. It was summer, she had a house full of kids, and they were getting restless. They had all been out of the house the previous day when the AC failed. Molly and her two kids had gone to the airport to pick up their cousins. Then, they went to the waterpark for the rest of the afternoon. By the time they got back home, it was almost 10 pm and the AC had been off for hours. Molly tried to inspect the cooling unit to determine why it had failed. But, her efforts were futile. She got online and booked an HVAC technician for the next day. Molly has been with the same HVAC company for years and she knew booking online worked no matter the time. After receiving her confirmation, they all went to bed, but it was not easy to fall asleep with the heat and humidity. The kids were in the shower several times trying to remain cool. Soon, morning came and Molly welcomed the HVAC technician into her home. The kids tried to remain comfortable, but eventually they went to explore the pool house since it had a ductless AC system. They told their mom the pool house had excellent AC, and she should head there to relax as the HVAC technician was working. Molly had to be in the house in case the HVAC technician had a question or needed assistance. So, she told them to relax, and she’d let them know when the cooling system was working in the house.
