There’s nothing worse than getting lost.
Unfortunately for me I tend to get lost a lot, ever since I was a little kid I’ve always been a bit of an adventurer, so that has led me to go and explore many places that I probably shouldn’t have been exploring.
Unfortunately, I’m still in this bad habit as an adult because I’ll visit cities and explore alleyways in the middle of the night. There’s just something about the tightness of the space in the calmness of the dark that I find to be oddly comforting. I know a lot of people would find this strange because alleyways are generally places that can be dangerous or uncomfortable, but I personally love them. Today was like any other day and I decided to go and explore a new city. As much as I left my hometown I needed a break from it all and I saw this was the perfect opportunity to take the break I needed. The only problem was when I headed out there I got lost. I was driving around in a circle for probably at least an hour. And I know that every time I ended up back in the same spot because I passed the same heating and AC business three times. Eventually in time sorry to just go inside this heating and AC business and ask them for directions. Lucky for me, the folks inside this company were super friendly and they easily pointed me in the right direction. I followed with her where they said to go and sure enough I was no longer lost and I started to recognize the area that I was back in.
