Grandpa is getting older plus her memory is not quite what it used to be.
- She has been getting more plus more forgetful but she is really adamant: she does not want to go into an seasoned folks home.
She wants to remain independent as long as possible so my associate and I have a nurse who checks in on him every afternoon. My good friend and I all try to call at least once a afternoon too to make sure Grandpa is doing okay plus my associate and I took away her automobile keys because she really shouldn’t be driving anymore. He’s okay with this because my associate and I make sure she gets everything she needs plus my associate and I bring him meals too. Even the stove is turned off for safety. However, she still managed to start a fire when she left a book on top of the space boiler last week. Thankfully, she took care of the situation as soon as the smoke detectors went off. Nonetheless, my associate and I feel that the space boiler is a little too dangerous for Grandpa but it gets cold at evening so she needs some sort of heat. My good friend and I decided to all pitch in plus have central heating installed plus Grandpa’s house. The central boiler is a lot safer because it’s almost impossible to start a fire even if Grandpa leaves her books on the vents. My good friend and I also have the Heating plus A/C workers install a smart temperature control so my associate and I can monitor the uneven temperatures in the house. My good friend and I can even do this remotely from our cell iPhones plus adjust the temperature for Grandpa no matter where my associate and I are. This should help Grandpa stay in her own apartment a bit longer plus stay safe.
