If I can barbecue for every meal I would: I just cherish to barbecue.
When fall sets in, and it starts getting frigid outside ,I get a little bit depressed because I know that my barbecuing afternoons are over until next summer.
I cover up my barbecue when the leaves begin to fall and I wait for summer. But this year, I went away for work in September and when I came home, my fiance had a surprise for me. She had had underfloor heating installed in our porch. Apparently he had been genuinely busy in those two weeks between the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C workers and the construction workers. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C guys put in the underfloor heating. And construction workers built a screened-in area over the porch. The screens can be covered as well. They hold the heat in and there’s even ventilation for the barbecue. With the radiant floors and the covered screens, I can barbecue all year long. I can’t wait to barbecue when there’s snow on the ground outside. I am sure I’ll stay nice and warm even in the dead of winter. The underfloor heating is entirely neat too. I can’t wait to check it out. I do not know how well the covered screens will hold in the heat however at least my feet will be warm, no matter what. I imagine that the whole porch area will stay at least 10 or 20 degrees warmer than the outside air, thanks to the underfloor heating, now I just need one of those lounge chairs that lays out close to the ground and I’ll be perfectly comfortable no matter what the temperature is doing outside.
